Re: Friedman's book on A77/A65 is ready

I wonder if we buy the printed copy, would the PDF file come for free? sometimes I want to read on my laptop.

Are his books available for the Kindle?

Just did a search on Amazon for Friedman A77 and got:

"Problem Solving and Structured Programming in Fortran 77"

Now that took me back to my early computing days but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for!

Apparently it will be....see here;

This e-Book will be available in THREE different formats:

1) As an instantly-downloadable, full-color .pdf file - over 575 pages of information, knowledge, and wisdom for ONLY USD $26.45!!! Ideal for viewing on your computer or iPad. (Click here to order)

2) (Coming soon!) For those of you who prefer traditional printed books, this work is also available as two printed books (Volume 1 and Volume 2) that will be mailed right to your door. The color version is a little more expensive than your typical book, but as some readers have reported, significantly cheaper than printing the .pdf file on your inkjet printer. (Check back in a week to buy the color version!)

3) (Coming soon!) A Kindle-friendly epub format.

Not sure when exactly...maybe Gary will chime in.....

Cheers
Steve
