Dealer said he got is last supply of Kodak chemistry and paper today.

Evidently, it sounded like Kodak wasn't paying their chemical suppliers, and his Kodak distributor for their processor's chemistry and paper got their last order today. His distributor told him be better get the Nuritsu guys to make the changeover to Fuji quickly on his lab machines which he plans to do under the Nuritsu service contract.

Bigger question is if Kodak is in a pinch on chemicals, what will outfits like Ilford do without any chemicals unless they supply their own for their film and paper?

Interesting issue for Kodak will be even if they get out of the mess they are in, if many shift their commercial labs to Fuji, they won't go back easily to Kodak which will be a bigger problem for Kodak down the road.
