X100 a dying breed; X1-pro a new star is born?

Hi to you all,

As a while ago I was interested in getting a X100, I never purchased one due to its sheer lack of interchangeable lenses possibility.

Now that the X1-pro will be released very soon, I wonder whether Fuji will abandon the X100 concept in favor of its new star the X1-pro. Despite a higher price (for now at least), I found the X100 possibility to be entirely eclipsed by that of the X1-pro, mainly because one will be able to change focal length at will, which is a very strong advantage in the long run.

Now, I seem to perceive the X100 as a somewhat intermediate but interesting system, which will be quickly forgotten when more cameras with similar features to the X1-pro will be available to us.

Your opinions?
