A sad day!

Im new here also. but tbh have not spent that much time on this forum. I have alot to learn with my trusted 350D.

I wish you a speedy end to your current situation.Spending some time out shooting birds will be a nice way to put your mind at ease..

All the best

Thanks, AvyMan! I always enjoy your comments and photos!
I picked up a 60D a while back to replace my SXi, which remains a solid backup. I think you were one who said you had no problem with me sticking around here (for the same reasons). I'm sure you're still more than welcome. More than a few of us would miss your consistent comments and help here.
I had to sell my Rebel XSi yesterday! http://houston.craigslist.org/pho/2813788655.html
I just upgraded to a 7D and with going through a divorce, I needed the cash.

I hope that you all don't mind if I still hang around here! This is the best Forum on DPR!

Errr, you are allowed to divorce them, but I don't think you are allowed to shoot them.
I just had to check where you were from when I read that. It seems to me that 'birds' as a term for women is something I recall hearing one of the Beatles say many years ago. In the US that's not a common term... but wait, we do call people 'bird brains....

I actually missed that one good point .. so there is no connection between calling women birds and calling people bird brains.. I think not ahaha
