photo: GDR4 jpeg HDR desert mountains
Yesterday I bought NIK's package for Lightroom, so today I'm starting to play with it. It was overcast all day and I decided to climb a nearby ridge. The sun started to poke through just as I was starting to come down and this is one of the shots I took. I accidentally had the camera set for JPG and not for RAW, so these are from the camera JPGs then processed with NIK HDR software. I'm hoping for a natural look as it looked to my eyes at the time, not something overdone, as I so often see with HDR.
So let me know what you think. Does it look good? Is it crap? Whatcha think? (It sure is fun climbing on this stuff!) This is in Arizona, just north of Lake Havasu and you can see a tiny bit of the Colorado River between the upper mountain ranges.
