EX1 vs. Panasonic G3 at CES

I got back a week ago from CES (it takes about that long to recover), where I was one of the Stereophile crew doing a show report (see http://www.stereophile.com/category/ces-2012 ). The photo equipment I took with me were a Panasonic G3, 14-45, 7-14, 45mm, and a Samsung EX1. I used mostly the G3/14-45 combo, with some shots using the 7-14, and the Samsung when I wanted to go light (leaving the rest of the equipment in the hotel room safe). I never got to use the 45mm.

The first two are shots taken with the EX1. They're examples of the kind of shots that I think are probably as good as I could have gotten with the G3 (at least at this reduced size). The third shot, singer Verdine White of Earth, Wind, and Fire, is a shot I don't think would have been as good with the EX1: it's at ISO1600, taken with the G3/45mm zoom/f5.6/1/25, just about the limit of what could be hand-held. The third shot (one of the more attractive Panasonic reps) was again using ISO1600. The EX1 doesn't do as well at this ISO.

Overall, the EX1 did a good job; there are several shots in my show report blog entries that were taken with it. (Can you tell which ones?)
