DG m43 25mm not D 43 25mm

I was referring to the Panasonic Leica Summilux DG 25mm F1.4 (micro four thirds lens) and not the four thirds lens as you were talking about mating it to a GH2.

You shouldn't have to pay over $599 for it.

The 25mm F1.4 D lens is a great four thirds lens but will focus much more slowly, will require a four thirds adapter, will be larger and heavier, and will cost much more. The optical quality of the older four thirds lens is superior to the micro four thirds variety but I personally don't think the quality gained is balanced by the disadvantages.

Just remember that four thirds lenses can be used on micro four thirds cameras but will require an adapter and will suffer in autofocus speed in comparison to micro four thirds lenses.
