Choosing papers for printing - the 'best'
The other day I was asked about what paper was 'best'.
Given I get to test a lot of printers and papers (and colour management kit) I could see why someone might ask.
However in the course of explaining why there was no real answer, I realised I'd never explained some aspects of my printmaking choices.
I've written up some aspects of my own paper choices and where I split it between technical and aesthetic aspects.
I realise that paper choices are a very personal thing, but hope that it helps a few people better navigate the maze
