Re: nx11 best camera setings?

If any similarity can be established between NX10/100 and the newer NX, then please read the recent thread http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/readflat.asp?forum=1001&message=40183736

Best JPG results for general landscape in daylight shots are obtained whenever Contrast + Sharp do not exceed -2. The default 0 + 0 is overcooked by 2 steps. All NR disabled, SR can be enabled when needed, and EV compensation -1/3 due to abrupt roll-off of the DR curve in the highlights (forget ETTR rules, unless you always check the RED histogram).

Next: Results improve significantly for Contrast = [-1,-3] and Sharp = [-2,-4], but requires either contrasty scenes, or quick post-edit. Whenever Contrast is set to -2 or less, one must increase Saturation=+1, assuming AWB. Mitch
