How often do you change lenses?

I am into DSLR photography for less than a year. In the late 80's and 90's, I had a film SLR with 3 lenses most of the time.

I have 4 lenses for my 60D, 10-22, 35/f2, 55-250, and Sig 17-70. When I started in film, I changed lenses often. It became irritating, so I tapped down my lens changes. When I first got the 60D, I usually carried the bag when I used the camera and changed lenses occasionally. Now I usually just pick one and leave the bag in the car.

Am I getting lazy, getting old, or just getting more pics more efficiently?

How many lenses do you normally carry on outings?

How do you carry your extra lenses when walking?

I used all of my lenses over the holidays. I only switched during shooting when I was at home, though. I took a lot of family pictures with the Sig. I took a couple of sleeping kid pics with the 35. I took family and animal and family pics at the zoo with the 55-250. And I took a lot of Christmas light pics and a couple of groups with the 10-22.

Happy New Year and thanks in advance for your opinion.
