My personal take: gear matters, of course, wich acts like a funnel.
You can't just squeeze an unmeasurable amount of talent, like Chase Jarvis's, through a pinhead-narrow funnel like a Lego camera.
With the wrong gear, you're just wasting away the most precious talent.
On the opposite side, with the right gear, you unleash all this vast talent, and masterpieces are the ending result.
So, yes, gear matters, a lot BTW.
