Pana G3: bests 5N in ISO6400, menus per

At ISO 6400:

"And the Panasonic G3 rolls into the winner's column to illustrate why we also do these crops, as it renders the lines between the letters just a little more crisply than the Sony NEX-5N."

On 5N menus:

"Menus and on-screen controls are confusing, especially in playback mode

GUI is slow and sometimes stutters, especially in menus and when reviewing movies"

Color accuracy:

(5N) "Color accuracy only average"

on G3: "it's the Panasonic G3's dramatic improvement in image quality that truly impresses us. Micro Four Thirds sensors have long been discounted because of their smaller overall sensor area when compared to APS-C cameras, but the quality we see in the Panasonic G3 turns that criticism on its head.

It is true that we found a flaw here and there in this prototype camera, but we can't be sure whether they'll appear in the shipping model. We're more blown away by the dramatic improvement in image quality that really vaults the $700 Panasonic G3 to the top of our favorites list."

The Panasonic GX1 (sized between 5N and 7) should be similar to the G3.
