Is the Panasonic G3 or GH2 clean at base ISO?

Re: Are the Panasonic G3 or GH2 clean at base ISO?

I find lower ISO shots from the G3 to be quite free of chroma noise at the ACR defaults. I use increasing amounts of luminance noise reduction as the ISO increases and have also slightly reduced the sharpening radius from the ACR defaults. I'm not going for absolutely noise-free images, as I don't mind a little grain-like luminance noise. The g3 seems to be more than a stop better than my G1, so I'd imagine it beats the Olympus m4/3 cameras by about the same amount. Blotchy skies have not been a problem with either Panasonic cam below ISO 800 and seem not to be a problem with the G3 at least to ISO 1600, with default ACR chroma noise reduction.
