Nikon FF v FT (again)

I got a mail from someone asking if I thought they should go from FT to Nikon FF. My reply:

I dunno, to be honest. I went FF and the weight was ridiculous. Fine if you can manage with a couple of small primes, fine if you want the full set of zooms and just lift them out of the car and carry them into the venue, fine if you are being paid big money. But walking around cliffs? No. I think I've just sold the D3. Great camera, but just, no. It spoiled my fun.

As for the Oly kit, I still think the 4/3rds format with the HG lenses was The Answer (for me). But Oly have killed it, so putting money there seems a bit..

Me, I've gone MFT. Delighted with it. The problem is the AF for sports event shooting. I still have the E3 for that, but what I will do when that is truly obsolete I have no idea. Perhaps by then we'll have a sports AF system on MFT.

On quality, I've just blown up a load of shots to poster size, some E330, some E3, some D3. All with good lenses. And all are fine. There is no difference.

So, not an answer, just what works for me.
