Re: Wanting to do Time Lapse with D3s.

Hey guys, this is all so very helful. Thank you!

I'm going to use a deep cycle 12VDC battery as my power suplply. I will make up a another cable to tap into the power cable that came with the AC power supply. Did this with a Canon 1Ds and it worked fine.

For slewing very very slowing during the TL, I've seen what Dynamics Perception dolly array http://dynamicperception.com/ can do. But, until I get that system, I'll try a small teleecope GOTO mount. This will allow me to move the camera 0.01 degree between shots (shoot, move, shoot) in azimuth, for the duration of the time lapse. While this is a cheap way of doing it, the dolly method is much more professional and easier to do.

I will use the internal TL setup in the camera and ND is always turned off.

As the old saying goes: Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
