First,I am just using T3 and not 60D.

Second, coming from bridge cam, I think the only thing that I must learn fast is to switch lens fast lol.

Thanks for the welcome.

Cheers,

Hi,

This will be my first post here in the forum so I just wanted to share my initial shots using Canon T3 + 55-250mm IS II lens. Coming from a bridge camera, I definitely felt the improvement in speed of course. And the IQ will eventually be there I hope.

I bet you'll spend less on your dslr stuff than many people spend on 2x a year bridge cameras. I'd love to have a 600D but am currently getting by nicely with the 450D. I also have the 55-250 IS lens, plus the 18-55 IS and the 50mm f1.8 which is excellent for indoor portraits. All three are kit lenses and all three have done a great job for me.

Welcome to the dslr world. Learn all you can about using your 600D and doing som RAW post-processing, and you won't be going back to the other side for a long time.
