Need advice on broken G9
Canon Loyalty Prog - Last time I used it a year ago....
You had to phone the Tech Dept 1st. Once they are 'convinced' (not to hard), "my LCD was cracked".
They pass you to the Customer Service Dept and they have a bunch of stuff to offer. I was offered a great deal on an "entry" DSLR with lens which would have been tempting if I were not already invested in Nikon lenses/bodies and I really wanted something more portable. As far as I can tell, the G10 I got was brand new but it came in a white box.
I gave it a good workout because of the 90 day warrenty. They only wanted the camera back, you get to keep the other stuff. Handy if your replacement takes the same battery.
