but technology is getting better, i think they can make a 36mp with, close to D700 high iso. Dx0 labs show that, D700 and D7000 has same image quality, rated 80. can new D800 get 90 from Dx0 ? i still think that 5year newer technology will be a very big step. thats why i'm still waiting for the new D800 to be tested. but by that time, D700 stocks will be finished. so there is a problem. buy or wait?

Any higher-pixel camera will have to be poorer in ISO performance - it's simple quantum physics, the pixel area is less therefore the photon count per pixel has to be less also.
