Hong Kong Lunar Eclipse (sort of) 10th Dec

Got a call at 10pm that there was a full eclipse.

Took the 50-200SWD.

Ran to car to get EP-3.

Ran back up to get monopod - the tripod had been lent out.

ran down and attempted getting full lunar eclipse in 9 degrees celsius without proper clothing.

Ate dinner in between return of light on moon.

Ran up to get appropriately dressed for damn cold whether.

Went back down for pictures.

Ran back up because battery empty.

Took a tall stall stool to assist in securing monopod and camera.

All in 1 and half hours of very cold (hong kong standards) weather.

This had BETTER be good (NOT).

I think I need to buy a REAL tripod.

The full Eclipse.

ISO 12800 version

Yippee GLARE

Now with stool cropped

The Original

As with everything, need more experience. S-AF + MF, then MF after stool acquisition.

Manual exposure and using 7 step exposure bracketing.
