Re: First WB750 full review

"Only the lack of RAW format support will disappoint the hardcore photographers looking for a more serious backup pocket camera.

Officially priced at £249 / $279, as usual with Samsung the WB750 is fantastic value for money considering its wealth of beginner friendly modes and effects, more sophisticated options for more experienced users, and the compelling combination of that versatile 18x zoom lens, good quality stills, excellent video and refined design. As a carry-everywhere camera that won't break the bank, the new Samsung WB750 makes almost perfect sense."

...their sample images seemed far too light and the color, is of course a matter of taste and intended use...

(additionally, the sample images are gigantic, with some elementary noise reduction and sharpening to taste, they resize down to very good / high quality, very usable files)

...though, with full manual (PASM), etc., exposure is whatever you want it to be...

...a-n-d...because the WB750 has IN CAMERA video editing, I can shoot a few simple clips and throw in a few videos to boot:

Being the WB750 can use a longer running battery, shoots full HD video (that can be edited right in cam), has more than enough built-in special effects, shoots highly usable photos... combining:

1.) WB750 - $300
2.) TL500 - 350
3.) Netbook - 300
4.) DVD - 30
5.) Case(s) - ?
Total - About $1,000 for a full, portable studio...
Shoot, edit, burn, present!
