Canon S95 and S100 DIY strap adapters.

Hi all,

I had an S90 and just upgraded to the S95 (because I mishandled the S90 and dropped it!) in a deal I couldn't refuse. It's arrived in the post but then I realized that the lugs for the neck strap attachments are very small. So, I've used what are called "cable ties" simply to convert the size of the lugs to a larger one which can take a "normal" strap.... see pics.

These cable ties are very very strong (I can't snap one with my hands) so the camera is safe and they are only pennies to buy (from an electrical store ask for black 100mm by 2.5mm cable ties).

I've never seen an S100, since they're not freely available in the UK yet, but I'll bet the lugs are the same and I believe that the camera still only comes with a wrist strap.
Have a look at the pics, hope they help someone
Kind regards,
Sheko.
