I know the 60D has some things that recommend it, especially video, but I think it maybe gives up a few things that I like, i.e. micro focus adjust. Maybe I'm making too much of that.
When the 60D came out, vast flocks of photographers ran around in circles squawking, "the sky is falling!" Many of those photographers - those who have never used the 60D - still spurn it like a rabid dog, but real-world experience indicates that very few have focus problems that require MA to fix. It's simply not an issue with the 60D.
That's good to know. But my budget will definitely not fit a 60D. If I could find a way to squeeze in anything but the 50D (doubtful) I would try for a deal on a 600D since it hits the mark in a lot of other ways for me.
