In-lens stabilization is a functionally superior system. For one thing it gives you, the photographer, a stable image in the viewfinder. Secondly it can help autofocus work better at lower light levels.

Having sensor IS with prime lens and other lenses not available with IS is really great! And at wide angle, and very slow shutter speeds the in-body IS is as good as or better than in-lens IS, from what I've seen in several tests.

Sensor IS is a great thing to have, but for telephoto lens is almost useless compared to in-lens, and in that situation we should have both (sensor IS for every lens + lens IS for a few selected lens).

Sigma makes a few stabilized lens in Pentax mount, so when it's most effective you can have it, and every store I've bought from sells all the versions for different mounts of 3rd-party lens for the same price.
