I'm in the same boat. All I ask for is Fuji to acknowledge the problem and let us know they can and will fix it. My X10 will arrive Thursday. I also have thirty days, it will remain in the box and if I hear nothing positive back it goes.

I wonder if contacting the vendors about lighting a fire under Fuji's butt to respond ASAP would do any good. After all they are the ones who are going to have to deal with a lot of dissatisfied customers.
