I've seen a lot of great wide open bokeh shots with the Zeiss, but I'm not into that. I shoot more at f/5.6 to f/8, where the Canon is very strong. That said, many people love the Zeiss 100MP, and more power to them. The world needs better pictures!

PS -- I see the Canon 100L IS macro is currently $886 at B&H! Whoa! That's amazing.
