The on-paper claims for this camera are truly amazing. It seems like using advances in low-voltage high speed image processing plus high framerate might be able to make up for the anemic 1/2.3" sensor. I wonder when it will be available for US purchase and at what price? If I can get it by Dec 16, I'd buy it blind. If later than that, I'd buy one for the right price (250-300) just to play with.

Agreed that 16MP is way too many MP for such a small sensor, but...

Is the lens so bad? 24-300 is a good range... over 300 is useless on a P&S. f/3.0-5.9 is respectable for such a tiny camera.
