Re: Slot-in filter systems - advice needed

I used Cokin P in my film days and carried on using it into digital. It is a good way to buy lots of different filters and filter rings without great expense. As I began to spend more on lenses and become more critical I started to question the quality of the Cokin system. The polariser was particularly poor.

I decided to graduate (pun intended) to Lee and I'm glad I did. It is super quality. I don't use as many filters these days so I didn't need to replace them all. I bought a starter grad set and they can double as ND's. You can add a polariser which can be moved independantly. The downside is the cost. Ouch!
You should read the Lee web site. It is very informative.
