Re: S100 photos & some thoughts

Vendors, as part of their sales offer, include return conditions. This becomes part of the terms of the sale. This is their offer, and I can choose to accept it or not.

Once I choose to accept it, the implied contract is that once I purchase the product I can keep it or return it under the retailer's own terms.

This is not a moral issue, nor is it an ethical issue. It's purely a neutral business issue.

Returning an item under the terms of a mutually accepted offer is legal, ethical, and an accepted practice. Neither party is injured, or there is an assumption that neither should have voluntarily entered the terms, as they did. Certainly no one would willingly be injured more than once.

If you don't like it, you can call the cops on one or the other party. And contact the retailers and tell them how they should run their business. Go for it.
