Has E-PL1 become a MFT "antique"?

I apologize for posting a similar message in the Olympus Talk Forum...I couldn't figure out how to transfer it here. So I'm rewriting it.

I'm finding loads of E-PL1s on the Buy/Sell sites lately. I'm sure that it's because of the E-PL2 and E-PL3 being on the market. But, as a result of these newer models, has the E-PL1 become an "antique"? A friend asked me this question, and I didn't know how to asnswer it. So I'll ask you folks. My experience with MFT is even further back---the E-P1. So, is the E-PL1 still considered a worthwhile camera to purchase(used of course, and for very attractive prices now), or should one forget about that and just pony up the extra bucks for the newer models?
Thanks for commenting.
