Considering A77: advice appreciated

I'm thinking of buying an A77 with the 16-50 lens. I would the standard zoom to be accompanied by a longer zoom, picking up at or around 50mm and going up to about 200mm, which would ideally be similarly fast and good quality. Trouble is, as far as I can tell Sony makes only slow lenses from 50/55mm up to 200mm+ and I'm also unsure what quality level they offer; alternatively there's a 70mm+ 2.8 but it's FF and therefore big and heavy. What is the view on the two slow 50/55mm-up zooms, and could there be a faster tele zoom on the way for APS-C?
