450D for wedding: Am I overly worried?

I do part-time wedding photography and this year has been quite busy for me. I am using 450D and 1000D. My usual job is a budget ceremony which are held in small houses where I am very confident of bounced flash light control or outside canopy tents where daylight are abundance (common in my country Malaysia). Recently a family friend decided to like my samples and hire me for her daughter's wedding - in a big banquet hall. This is kind a break for me as this is usually a mid-upper class and above kind of wedding event and I am focus to give my best in term of photographic quality and see where I go from there.

I start to wonder if 450D can cope with this situation. I usually don't give much bother over new cameras and sensors which I don't think having a significant edge over my camera. I know I need to increase my flash power for this event as the ceiling is very high to simulate smaller indoors but I start to doubt if newer camera/sensor (read 60D/600D/550D) can give me visual edge over my current equipment in term of hi ISO capability where I can shoot ISO 1600/3200 with little worries. Or is there any other advantage which I overlook?

Or am I worry too much? By the way, the event will be held early December.
