Shakira gets a Hollywood Star....(Oly E30 + 70-300mm).........
Nov 11, 2011
Went to the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony for Shakira, Colombian singer and world entertainer. For us futbol fans, Shak is the sexy lady that composed and sang Waka Waka, the official theme song for the World Cup in South Africa. I’ve got to the place about two hours earlier cause I had a feeling this was going to be a crowded ceremony. I was right! The place was already packed even though I’ve got to the corner of Vineland/Hollywood early. By sheer luck, some latino lady let me slip in right next to her. Bad thing is that it was a bad spot cause I ended with not that many front shots ops. Plus, all the people pushing left and right messed up some of my captures; the place was a bowl of hooligans. Latino hooligans. At some point when Shak was doing her rounds around the fence that was containing these hooligan they almost brought it down. Geeeeeeeeez. Captures are not spot on focused but I will keep them. I was shooting at ISO 800 too. I applied some clean up in Neatimage. C&C is always welcome.

The Panasonic Lumix S5II launched the second generation of Panasonic’s full-frame mirrorless camera system and was the first Panasonic to feature phase detect autofocus. As our review reveals, it’s a heck of an all-around camera for both still and video shooters.
The latest Lumix puts a Four Thirds sensor in a full-frame body with boosted AF and a wealth of stills and video capabilities to create a Swiss Army Knife of a Micro Four Thirds camera.
The fourth camera in Leica's SL series of full-frame mirrorless cameras sees the 60MP BSI sensor from the Q3 and M11 models arrive with a significant interface redesign.
The Fujifilm X100VI is the sixth iteration of Fujifilm's classically-styled large sensor compact. A 40MP X-Trans sensor, in-body stabilization and 6.2K video are among the updates.
The Nikon Zf is a 24MP full-frame mirrorless camera with classic looks that brings significant improvements to Nikon's mid-price cameras. We just shot a sample reel to get a better feel for its video features and have added our impressions to the review.
