Hello everyone, just letting you all know that we have now re-shot the NX200 studio samples again, using a neutral-density gel over the light to avoid the band of shutter speeds that were giving us less than perfect sharpness.

All indications point towards our initial theory - shutter-induced vibrations - as being the culprit for the softness, but we're working with Samsung on nailing it down once and for all. In the meantime, we've swapped out ISO 100-800 samples for the newer shots, taken at slower shutter speeds, and you can see them now in the comparison tool. There is a slight but noticeable improvement in sharpness at all ISO settings of 800 and below.

PS - if you see 'no sample' in the NX200's ISO 100 shot, don't worry, just refresh the page. It's a bug, we should be able to get it fixed shortly.

Wow, I want to say thanks to dpreview for reshooting this stuff and clearing this all up!

No problem - I should also say that we've made Samsung aware of the issue and we'll let you know what the outcome of that discussion is.
