What do you consider the effective ISO limit of your camera?

I leave my GF1 and G1 on auto ISO and they seem to stop at 1600. They both seem to over expose in very low light and initially shots do look noisy but once the scene has been corrected to give a more realistic light level of the scene the noise is pretty much invisible and only minor NR is required.

When I need high ISO I'm usually in situations that require a lot of dynamic range, so I tend to underexpose then bring the shadow areas back up in post, which the old 12mp sensor can't really hack at ISO1600. Looking forward to the updated sensor in the GX1...
