Please Check Canon S100 New Burst Mode & Report

Hi. I am not able to look at a Canon S100 locally, and the user manual is not clear. Can one of you who owns it check a feature for me?

I am interested in the new Burst Mode, that claims 8fps.

First, how many steps does it take to get into that mode?

Second, is it possible to have a manual white balance set, and utilize this burst mode?

Third, how fast does it actually take the pictures?

Four, what is the quality of those pictures?

Five, does that mode allow any manual adjustments of settings, or is it all auto?

Six, it looks like you can't view all of those pictures on the camera from what I read in the user manual. Is that true? Do you have to expert them to a computer first to see those image sets?

The reason I ask is because I use an S90 underwater for snorkeling and love it. But I do miss a lot of fish pictures because of the slow reaction time. But I am hoping that this burst mode might help solve this problem. But it will only be useful for me if the camera retains a manual white balance setting while using that mode (I set the S button for quick one button push white balance adjustments).

Thanks for your help!

P.S. Any idea how long until the underwater housing is released, based on what Canon has done in the past?
