D90 help !
Hello, first time here. I am an amateur photographer and have an older speedotron flash package i am using. With my older slr camera i would take portraits with three flashes using a slave from my main camera. Shoot at 1/60 @ 5.6, 100 iso film for greatest quality. This worked great as i was metering the light myself.
With the D90 i cant get the correct exposer like this without using an iso 2000 plus, which isnt right. It wont allow me to use 1/60 for a shutter either, forces me to go slower which screws up with any movement. Why can i not set is the same way and get a good exposure? I am using an SB800 flash unit to remotely fire to my slave to fire the strobes which works but the settings just arent what they're supposed to be.
Is this a problem with the onboard flash not being setup correctly? Some TTL setting messing things up?
