It is those guys who do it? Whatta relief, I thought that I was a bad photographer. Perhaps they cause NAS also?

Seriously, the lever really is not so well designed. As PHXAZCRAIG wrote, it's the S position which is the main problem. Also, I'd like to be able to operate it more easily without removing my eye from viewfinder.

But perhaps the M mode dictates it's design. And knowing Nikons conservatism, I'm sure they won't change the design unless they have to.
