The nicest camera I've ever used was the TLR Rolliflex. And that also had no extra info in the viewfinder. The only info you realy need is the image you are about to take, and some knowledge about composition and how to capture the 'moment'.

It's rare that the camera screws up the image, but very common for the photographer whilst lookig at all thet 'info'.
