Re: FZ150 slow focus in cloudy daylight

I've seen some focus overshoot with my FZ150 as well and it can be irritating for sports or birders when that happens and you likely missed the shot or possibly even got a burst of blurred images. I've also seen it when taking static moon shots when I wasn't using spot AF.

Are you using OUTDOOR SPORTS mode or rolling with your own settings? Either way you can likely try 1-AREA spot AF or AF TRACKING to see if either improves your situation. With spot AF, you may have to focus-frame-shoot - someting that's not always easy when it comes to action! Getting AF TRACKING to work consistently will also likely take some practice - I've having some issue using it for birding but for larger soccer players it might work well..
