Serious non-DSLR nature shooters?

I can get into trouble using the word "serious" here. But, I'm referring to those photographers who truly enjoy nature/wildlife shooting, and care about their results, yet do NOT like toting around a bag of DSLR gear while out in the field.

I know that one can take one body and one lens, but I'm still talking to non-DSLR shooters here.

When cruising through the various forums here, you can find endless examples of fantastic nature/wildlife images taken with P&S cameras....mainly bridge/superzoom cameras.

So, to those that fit this description, are you totally happy shooting without DSLRs? And if so, what have you found to be the "cons" of your photography...if any?
Are you sold on NOT using DSLRs?
