NEX-5N with Zeiss 50mm C Sonnar f/1.5 - another legacy design lens

I picked up the Zeiss C Sonnar 50mm f/1.5 and am using with the NEX-5N via the Hawks helicoid adapter (it's an M Mount - Leica style - lens)

I really like shooting with it, although I haven't had a chance to shoot any really interesting subjects yet. From a review on Ken Rockwell's site, this is supposed to be based on a 1930s design, and is somewhat soft, for portraits and stylized photos where you want a really warm bokeh effect.

Here's a few shots I've taken so far. The leaves are pretty much straight out of camera except for exposure adjustment in Photoshop by duplicating the layer, overexposing it and then multiplying it by itself (basically, the recipe for the Orton effect, except without any gaussian blur applied, since I shot it at f/1.5 and it was already soft enough). The shot of the car was converted to B/W via Silver Efex.
