SD1 goes to Ali, Tibet

Hi Folks,

I have just returned from an expedition from Tibet China, to be more exact it was Ali, Tibet. As far as I am concerned, it has been one of my most challenging, if not "D" most challenging expeditions so far.

Not only we have to go through the tight process of applying for the Tibetan VISA, but also we have to fight the high altitude sickness (HAS). Unfortunately, 4 out of my 11-crew members were down with the HAS, luckily they recovered within a few days.

Most of the shots were taken at the 4,000 meters above sea levels.

This image of an old Tibet woman was taken at a place called Huo Er, which is 4,750 asl. She is a beggar.

She was mumbling and talking to herself throughout the shooting, uttering words no one could understand. It was only for a brief moment that she stopped and held her head high. I know then it was the moment to make my composition.

Very minimum post-production, almost everything was straight out from SPP 5.0

Copyright message was done in PS 5.0
Stay tune more to come.
