We took a stroll around Panama's iconic Casco Viejo (Old Town) this saturday. Sadly the day was all cloudy and rainy. I spent more time taking care the gear didn't get wet than taking the actual pictures, but here are a few I got. I will be back soon on a much better day, I promise.

Very nice shots. I like #2, 4, and 5.

Had no idea Panama was that large. Skyline looks like Manhattan. Must be some serious money being the gatekeeper for all those ships.

Nice set, lots of interesting subjects to shoot, it must have been a long walk.

My favorite shot is the first one. It's possible to feel like you are standing right there. I always enjoy that feeling.

Art is far superior to "artsy".

Thanks for the tour, Martin. Nice shots. The narrow street shots are my favorite. They really show the 'neighborhood'. I was surprised to see so few people in most of the pictures, though, given the size of the city.

Thanks for the tour Martin! I love seeing places I haven't been to.. or places I have been to...oh just anywhere foreign basically! Panama is not at all what I was expecting, although having said that I'm not too sure what I was expecting :)

2173 is my favourite, I really like the tunnel shooting of and the detail of the interesting hangings (paintings??) on the left.

Cheers Olivia

The world is too big for one lifetime, and one lens.

I shot over a hundred images. This was only a quick selection and I haven't finished processing them all. I'll promise I'll most some more on the next few days.

About the shots with few people on the streets, I think it was due to the weather, since it was rainy. Not very lively for shooting, but good to keep people away and take good lonely pictures.
