Doubt about FOV of APS-C view finder
I am curious to know what field of view the view finder will show when a 50mm lens is attached to an APS-C format camera. Is it equivalent of a 75mm on a FF body or 50mm itself? Why I am doubtful because the image in the view finder is not affected by the sensor and the sensor size causes the difference in FOV. At the same time the image captured in the sensor is same as the one we see in the view finder. So how is it possible for the view finder to show the same FOV as that of the sensor?
