If more MP = poor high ISO performance, can I just shoot with less than max MP?

horses for races, there is just no do-everything camera, and typical pro does not need do-everything camera, that's why many pros use variest system for different assignments. More MP is always fine, for certain job. And better high ISO performance is good, for some jobs. In reality, there are many many high paying professional jobs using studio or artificial light that the high resolution is their main focus, while documentary, wedding and some street photography needs the high ISO performance system then they go for theirs.

The solution is to use right system for right work, asking camema maker to do magic is not the only solution.
