Re: first but not the last I think!!

Hello pentax Diver

I hope you don't mind that my English is very poor

To the DFA 100 mm macro (and not WR version):

If you won't use the DFA 100 as a macro, I would probably take a lock at the older FA 100mm macro.
I have this lens, and I think the DFA 100 mm macro is optial the same.

The FA 100 mm macro have a focus-limiter. If the lens start to needs time if it runs through the macro area. With the focus-limiter you can disabel the macro area, so that the lens act like a normal 100mm lens.
But of cause, you can buy this lens only second hand now.

To the FA 77:

I don't think that you will regret it... but if so, this lens doesn't lost much of it's value. Therefore if you sell it, you may lost only a little money .

A point, apart from it's IQ, which I realy like at the FA77 very much: inside the Pentax groop, the FA 77 is sometimes a 'Holy Grail'... but outside the box... the FA77 is a wonderful discret lens. You can put out your camera where you want, it seems that nobody take noticed from you...and you have all the time to make the pictures you wont.

best regards kikivrany
