canon g12 miniaturization mode
I would someone to tell me how the image is affected when using the Scene mode called miniaturization that is available in the G12. The stuff I read says it will make the image look like a toy, and blur the top and bottom of the photo. Is this useful to take photos of Christmas trees in their full size, and then print them ias some some miniature image?
I welcome help/suggestions from anyone who uses this option.
Many Canon's have this mode.
The effect is best seen when you are on a building looking down to the street at an angle of around 45 degrees. If you just switch it to that mode and shoot at anything, the effect really doesn't come off as well.
Look on youtube for videos shot this way and you will understand. (like these examples)
