Olympus XZ-1 AMOLED screen etc.
I obtained the following comment while researching the XZ-1. I've also attached the link. I'm consideting the XZ-1 and any talk of longevity (risk or benefit) gets my interest.
"Not one report is mentioning a life expectancy of the AMOLED screen on the XZ-1 and
blue-OLEDs efficiency (meagre 4-6% vs. red 20%) ; power-consumption (over three times of the LCDs) when white background displayed; white-balance issues; UV sensitivity; extra sealing against water damage; out-door degradation of the screen; screen burn-in, colour balance etc. ???
"The obvious AMOLED display advantages may sound excellent on the paper but for the compact that costs quite a bit shouldn't we know more about the longevity of the XZ-1's screen?"
