No it isn't and such close examing to discern minute differences is an academic exercise that makes for spirited discussion. From a practical point of view it's unimportant. Is a car that goes 150 miles an hour really significantly faster than one that goes 145? Will it make a difference in real use? Only if you are in a drag race maybe. Pixel peeping is photography's version of a drag race and for me photography isn't about competition or bragging rights.
