I have a G1 and GH2 and have always been pleased with the sharpness I get, using the two Panny lenses you mentioned, and the 7-14 as well. Hope you stay around for a while.

Thanks .. I liked the GH1 best of the Pannys and I'm sure the GH2 is a very worthwhile improvement, especially in the banding department and no doubt the Video is Mud-free (the GH1 hacked was superb but unhacked, not as good as the NEX or some compacts for video) Pan themselves never bothered to sort either issue with the cam .

I always wanted to try the 7-14 but never could stump up the brass to get one (expensive in the UK)
